The Rotary Club of Christchurch New Horizons

Learning - SPCA Barry Helem of SPCA Canterbury enlightened the club with what SPCA does and how the club could support SPCA.

The Rotary Club of Christchurch New Horizons has been developed as a direct result of the series of devastating earthquakes that impacted the region during 2010 and 2011.

Unique to Christchurch, the Rotary Club of Christchurch New Horizons is specifically designed to cater to active career professionals and business owners who are looking for the opportunity to help in the community at the same time as having a forum for professional development and business networking. community services stretched to capacity, many people just wanting to do something to help new business hubs replacing damaged buildings across the city, the time was opportune to re-create the history of Rotary.

This blended approach is what sets the Rotary Club of Christchurch New Horizons apart. We honour Rotary proud values and relevant traditions at the same time as creating an innovative look. With an average member age of 42 years, a diverse cultural mix and an impressive male / female member ratio, Rotary New Horizons is taking a leading role in changing the face of Rotary in the District. Symbolic of its name,  the Rotary Club of Christchurch New Horizons brings something NEW for Rotary and NEW for Christchurch.
