Dallington Landing Community Planting

Service Projects

In partnership with Christchurch City Council, as part of the Rotary Forests of Peace and Remembrance, volunteers will be planting 40,000 different trees, shrubs, and grasses to increase biodiversity and recreate a forest-type environment.

You'll need to bring gardening gloves, water bottle and snacks, and wear sturdy footwear. Bring your own spade if you have one.

Registrations are essential, due to Covid-19 restrictions the event is restricted to 100 volunteers.

Keep St Albans Beautiful

English Park, Cranford Street Service Projects

In conjunction with Tidy Kiwi, Keep Christchurch Beautiful, and the St Albans Residents Association we will be cleaning up the streets and waterways surrounding English Park in St Albans as part of the Keep New Zealand Beautiful Clean Up Week 2021

We will meet at English Park car park situated on Cranford Street. Group will break up and clean the full surroundings of English Park, waterways and outside the local Primary School.If possible, please bring your own gloves ie. gardening ones are great. If you have a sack or big bucket, bring these along too.

B.B.Q. will be included for all volunteers.
