Dame (Dr.) Sue Bagshaw - Christchurch Youth Hub

Sue is the Chair of the Youth Hub Trust and the visionary behind the project.
The Youth Hub, currently under construction in Salisbury Street, is New Zealand's first purpose-built Youth Hub which will house a dozen organisations working on the frontline of youth health and wellbeing. The Youth Hub will provide everything young people aged between 10 and 25 need to improve and maintain their mental health, from supported housing and health and support services to recreation and creativity. Services will be delivered in a youth-centric and accessible environment where young people feel accepted and supported as they develop into adults with respect to their ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation and gender. Youth focus groups have been involved in the design of the facility.
